The Deepings

The Deepings u3a was established in 2003 and draws members from The Deepings, surrounding villages including Northborough, Glinton, Maxey and Langtoft, towns of Stamford and Spalding and also from Peterborough. We currently have over 300 members.

At the heart of every u3a across the country are interest groups and at the heart of every group are people just like us. A group can be just a few people sharing an interest around the kitchen table or 100+ in a rented space. There are around 30 groups in our u3a from art appreciation, and history, through languages and literature, to lunch and walking. Join as many as you have time for.

A potted history of The Deepings u3a can be found here

Over the years members of The Deepings u3a have been on walking holidays, overseas holidays, visits to London and other cities, gardens and other events. A selection of photographs can be seen in the Archive
